We are looking for a backend developer for our client which is a startup tech company in UAE.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Java and microservices architecture
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Experience working with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (especially Git)
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Java profiling and JVM memory management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with clean code principles, code reviews, and refactoring
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database systems (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB
- Exposure to cloud technologies is a plus
