Job Description

Must have Skills : Java (Expert), React (Expert)

Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, solution development, and technical leadership.
  • Proven track record of leading development teams and delivering mission-critical applications in banking or financial services.
  • Experience in low-level design, hands-on coding, and technical reviews across backend and frontend stacks.
  • Strong exposure to cloud-native development, DevOps practices, and modern engineering tooling.

Backend & Frontend Technical Expertise

  • Deep hands-on expertise in backend technologies:
  • Strong working knowledge of frontend technologies:
    • React.js, Angular, Flutter, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience in building modular, reusable components, and full-stack applications.
  • Proficient in API-first development, including:
    • Designing and consuming RESTful APIs
    • Understanding Swagger/OpenAPI specifications
    • Defining and validating sequence diagrams, data flows, and integration points
Cloud & Infrastructure Awareness

  • Hands-on experience with Azure (preferred) and AWS for application development and deployment.
  • Familiarity with:
    • o Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN
    • o Databases, Big Data, Analytics, Security
  • Experience working in hybrid cloud environments and supporting on-premises infrastructure.
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless functions.

DevOps & Engineering Practices

  • Strong experience in:
    • CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
    • API Gateway management using Kong
  • Skilled in monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
  • Champion of engineering best practices, including:
    • Code quality, security, scalability, reusability, and maintainability
AI, GenAI & Agentic Solutions (Preferred)

  • Exposure to AI/ML model integration, GenAI applications, and agentic system design.
  • Ability to support intelligent features and collaborate with data science teams on model deployment and technical enablement.

Security & Compliance Awareness

  • Working knowledge of GSO security principles, secure coding practices, and data protection standards.
  • Ability to support security reviews, risk assessments, and ensure compliance alignment during development.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Proven ability to lead development teams, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence.
  • Strong collaboration with solution architects, product owners, and business analysts to ensure delivery alignment.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams, technical stakeholders, and delivery managers.
