We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

• Engineer Conversational AI platforms with LLM-based agents, reusable frameworks, and secure enterprise knowledge systems.
• Architect AI/ML platform components, operationalize LLMs, and implement MLOps best practices.
• Build ML pipelines using Azure/AWS, deploy foundation models, and manage cloud-native infrastructure.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, evaluate emerging tools, and improve platform reliability.
• Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance.

• Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

• At least 8+ years in leading AI/ML engineering, platform development, or large-scale digital product engineering Experience in deploying enterprise AI/ML solutions, preferably in banking.
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field required.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in AI/ML is preferred.
• AI/ML engineering with expertise in LLMs, transformers, multimodal models, RAG, and vector databases
• NLP/NLU, personalization, and recommendation systems
• Scalable cloud-native AI platforms using microservices architecture
• Proficient in Python, Azure, AWS, SQL/NoSQL, GraphQL, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow
• Strong stakeholder management, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration
• Deep understanding of emerging AI trends and rapid prototyping
• Active engagement in AI communities and innovation initiatives
