React Native + Kotlin Developer

We are looking for a remote Middle React Native + Kotlin Developer to join our team.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining applications for Android TV AOSP devices. Your role will involve developing high-performance applications specifically optimized for Android TV, utilizing React Native for cross-platform functionality and Kotlin for Android TV-specific features.

Responsibilities

Develop high-performance applications specifically optimized for Android TV using React Native and Kotlin
Integrate with RESTful APIs and backend services to ensure seamless functionality
Collaborate with the team to create engaging and user-friendly TV experiences
Utilize state management in React Native for effective application performance
Ensure adherence to UI/UX principles and features specific to Android TV

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in React Native for cross-platform development
Strong experience with Kotlin development
Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and backend services
Familiarity with Android TV’s UI/UX principles, remote control navigation, and features like Leanback
Knowledge of state management in React Native (e.g., Redux, MobX)
Strong communication skills
B2+ English level

Nice to have

Knowledge of React Hooks and Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android TV app deployment
Experience with AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and custom Android TV builds
