Are you our new App Product Manager & Team Lead ?
We are looking for a senior, commercially minded App Product Manager & Team Lead to join our E-com & Digital team at Fornebu. In this role, you will have end-to-end ownership of Norwegian’s app, with responsibility for its strategic direction, commercial performance and continuous development.
You will translate company strategy, customer insight and data into a clear product vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog, ensuring delivery in line with Norwegian’s business and digital objectives. You will lead the app team through a Sprint-based way of working, leading cross functional team to plan, prioritize and deliver value iteratively. Acting as the central link between business stakeholders, user insights and IT, you will drive effective execution, remove blockers and ensure a high-performing development cadence.
You will lead and support app developers and UX-designers, foster strong collaboration, and ensure decisions are grounded in business needs, user insight and technical feasibility. The role carries responsibility for delivering a high-performing, accessible and scalable app experience across devices and markets. The role reports to the Director of E-commerce & Digital and includes direct people leadership responsibility.

In This Role You Will Be Responsible For
- Own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and backlog for Norwegian’s app, aligned with
- Norwegian’s business and digital objectives
- Lead the app team through a Sprint-based way of working, ensuring predictable delivery and continuous improvement
- Translate business goals, user insights and data into clear product priorities and delivery plans
- Drive data-driven optimization of app performance, conversion and customer experience
- Ensure the app delivers a high-performing, accessible (WCAG-compliant) and scalable experience across devices and markets
- Own app KPIs, success metrics and performance reporting, using insights to guide decisions
- Lead and support app developers and UX designers, fostering strong collaboration and technical excellence
- Act as the primary link between commercial stakeholders & IT
- Plan and support user research and testing, ensuring customer insight informs product decision
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, business or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in digital product management, app development or a similar role, preferably within B2C e-commerce or travel industry - with proven, documented results
- Proven experience leading Sprint-based development and working closely with developers and UX designers
- Strong commercial understanding with the ability to translate business strategy into customer[1]centric product decisions
- Solid experience using data, KPIs and experimentation to drive product performance and optimization
- Demonstrated knowledge of accessibility requirements (WCAG) and experience delivering compliant digital experiences
- Strong advocate for user insight, research and testing, balancing user needs with business outcomes
- Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments and driving alignment across functions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable in influencing at senior stakeholder level
- Fluent in English and Norwegian, written and spoken
- Flexible workplace policy with onsite presence at our main office at Fornebu, Oslo.
