PHP Developer

Leeds, UK (Hybrid working 3/2)

Up to £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

Agencies in Leeds are bucking the trend and they are growing! This tech team expansion comes off the back of multiple client wins and you’ll join a large established team with a real focus on employee experience.

The ideal person for this role would be a PHP developer who enjoys working on websites for household clients and has experience with Craft CMS and Laravel. You'll be a key player on the team and work across a real variety of projects with support from lead and principle devs.

A few of your key responsibilities:

• Master your craft -Work across every layer of Craft CMS, from quick control panels to custom module builds

• Architect smart solutions - Dive into data requirements and design CMS structures that just make sense

• Thrive in the mix - Juggle multiple projects across fast-moving client accounts

• Lead the charge on new tech - Discover emerging tech and bring your ideas to the table

• Nail the numbers - Build spot-on cost estimates and own the budget for your own smaller projects

• Shape the blueprint - Help craft the technical specs that turn ideas into reality

• Ship it - Take ownership of your work and deliver features that land on time

Qualifications and technical skills:

• Several years of digital agency experience
• A passion for all things PHP
• Experienced user of Craft CMS
• Experience extending Craft with custom modules using the Yii framework
• Knowledge of Laravel, Vue.js, Tailwind CSS and Docker would be great but can be taught
• The desire to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
