We are expanding our talent network and seeking a proactive DeFi Trader to join our partner, a leading quantitative crypto fund. This role will involve managing and executing sophisticated DeFi strategies while contributing to the research and development of new trading models in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

Research, develop, and execute automated and discretionary trading strategies across decentralized exchanges (DEXs), liquidity pools, and yield aggregators.

Monitor and manage active positions, LP holdings, and farming strategies across multiple chains (Ethereum, Solana, Layer 2s), optimizing for risk-adjusted returns.

Conduct in-depth on-chain and fundamental analysis of new DeFi protocols, tokenomics, and governance mechanisms to identify alpha opportunities.

Build and maintain tools and dashboards for real-time monitoring of market conditions, gas fees, liquidity, and protocol health.

Collaborate with the research team to backtest strategy ideas using historical blockchain data.

Actively manage risk through portfolio allocation, position sizing, and the use of hedging instruments (e.g., perps, options).

Stay ahead of the curve on emerging DeFi trends, airdrop campaigns, new primitives (e.g., restaking, intent-based systems), and regulatory developments.

Provide clear, data-driven reports on strategy performance, P&L attribution, and market insights.

Who You Are

Proven track record (2+ years) of profitable trading in decentralized finance, with a deep understanding of AMM mechanics, yield farming, and liquidity provision.

Strong experience with DeFi tools and platforms: DeFi Llama, Zerion, DeBank, Dune Analytics, along with direct interaction via wallets (Metamask, Phantom) and popular DEXs/aggregators.

Solid technical understanding of blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, and common DeFi vulnerabilities.

Proficiency in data analysis and a strong quantitative mindset. Experience with Python/R for data scraping, analysis, or backtesting is a strong plus.

Highly disciplined, systematic, and able to remain calm under pressure in volatile market conditions.

Self-starter with a passion for DeFi who spends significant time "on-chain" exploring new protocols.

English communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

Nice to have: Experience with MEV strategies, flash loans, or protocol development. A strong on-chain reputation or history of early participation in successful DeFi projects.
