Role: Host to Host Application Developer (Java)

Responsibilities:

  • H2H Integration and Development: Design, develop, and implement robust H2H (Host-to-Host) integrations, ensuring seamless data exchange and connectivity with various client systems
  • System Configuration & Management: Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain applications and integration components, particularly within Linux environments
  • Documentation & Approval Process: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions, integration specifications, and system configurations. Ensure proper approval processes are follows :-
  • Effective Communication & Problem-Solving: Exhibit strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and effectively resolve complex technical issues
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in coding, configuration, testing, and documentation to ensure accuracy and reliability of H2H integrations and applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Skills - Proven experience as an Application Developer, with a focus on H2H integrations
  • Strong proficiency in Java or other relevant programming languages
  • Extensive experience with Linux operating systems (e.g., scripting, command-line operations, system administration basics)
  • Demonstrated experience with H2H integration technologies and protocols
  • Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator or similar integration platforms is a significant plus
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills

Additional Information:

The position will require occasional support outside of regular hours (evenings and weekends) for deployments, system maintenance, or critical issue resolution. Time off or off-in-lieu will be provided for overtime.
