We are on a mission to turn conversations into revenue—and as we scale, we're looking for a strategic Senior Manager / Head of Business Intelligence to architect the intelligence layer and unlock the data-driven insights that will power our global growth engine.

🚀 Why This Role Matters

Wati is in a significant scaling phase, and our success depends on our ability to transform data into a strategic advantage. We are evolving our data function from a reporting service into a core business-impact engine.

As the Senior Manager / Head of Business Intelligence, you will be a pivotal leader sitting at the intersection of strategy and execution. You will not just manage a team; you will own the "Insights-to-Impact" lifecycle, ensuring our executives and functional leaders have the clarity needed to make high-stakes decisions with confidence.

🎯 What You'll Do

🧠 Strategic Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with GTM Leaders, Revops, Product & Engineering, Finance, Support and Peoples Team to translate complex data into strategic business outcomes
  • Embed yourself in business and product rituals to gain deep context, ensuring the data team is solving for the "why" and "so what," not just the "what."
  • Cultivate the team culture toward Strategic Partnership, where analysts are empowered to advocate for data-driven decisions and proactively identify growth opportunities

📈 High-Impact Business Influence

  • Holistic Strategy Support: Provide the data-driven conviction needed to influence the global roadmap, from product feature prioritization to commercial go-to-market execution
  • Outcome Optimization: Identify and track the key metrics that drive long-term value, helping the business decide where to double down on initiatives and where to optimize for efficiency
  • Proactive Opportunity Discovery: Use data to uncover hidden patterns in customer behavior, revenue trends, and operational performance to drive proactive business shifts

🛠 Technical Oversight & Efficiency

  • Maintain a solid conceptual understanding of our data stack (GCP and BigQuery) to ensure the integrity and reliability of all business insights
  • Partner with Data Engineering to maintain a clean "Single Source of Truth" and a robust data warehouse foundation that enables self-serve capabilities for the whole company
  • Leverage automation and modern AI tools to scale the team's impact, allowing analysts to spend less time on manual reporting and more time on high-judgment strategic projects

Requirements

  • 8-12+ years of experience in Data, BI, or Analytics, with a mandatory track record of managing and scaling a data organization
  • Scaling Mindset: Experience navigating the shifting priorities and rapid pace of a scaling B2B SaaS environment is highly preferred
  • Hunger for Business Influence: You believe data is a business-impact function, not a service desk. You are passionate about helping stakeholders make well-informed, data-driven decisions
  • Technical Fluency: A strong conceptual grasp of data warehousing, ETL processes, and modern data stacks (specifically GCP/BigQuery), even if you are not the primary builder
  • Communication Mastery: The ability to simplify complex data into a clear, actionable narrative for C-suite and GTM leaders

🌟 Bonus Points

  • Hands-on experience with modern GTM and Product tech stacks (e.g., Heap/Mixpanel, HubSpot, Chargebee)
  • Experience supporting PLG + Sales-assisted hybrid revenue models
  • Background in high-scale, multi-regional environments
