A C-suite reporting position leading the defensive security posture for a major global technology group. My client is seeking a visionary and highly experienced Head / Director of Cyber Defense (SOC) to lead their critical cybersecurity defences team in Singapore.

about the job

• Define and execute a multi-year strategy to mature enterprise defenses, standardizing and streamlining operations across global business units for maximum efficiency.
• Aggressively spearhead the adoption of AI/ML and sophisticated orchestration to fundamentally redefine threat detection and incident response capabilities. Experience operationalizing AI in cyber defense is non-negotiable.
• Serve as the authoritative command during major cybersecurity crises, working closely with executive risk functions.
• Scale, mentor, and develop a highly specialized defense team, prioritizing expertise in data and next-generation security disciplines.

skills and experience required
Minimum of 15+ years in security, with 10+ years managing large-scale SOC/Defense programs. Must possess CISSP/CISM and a proven history of translating strategic roadmaps into operational reality, with a deep focus on cloud security and automation.

Whats on offer
This a permanent opportunity for an Head / Director of Cyber Defense (SOC), offers a salary range of $ 19,000 - $ 21,000, inclusive of benefits.
