Role Overview

Command Post Tech LLC QFZ is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across Qatar by engaging new customers, expanding existing relationships, and onboarding strategic accounts. This role is suited to a self-driven individual with a strong local network and a proven ability to independently develop and close opportunities in the cybersecurity and technology services market.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across government, enterprise, and regulated sectors in Qatar
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects, from initial engagement through to contract closure and onboarding
  • Establish trusted relationships with C-level executives, CIOs, CISOs, and key decision-makers
  • Represent Command Post’s cybersecurity services and platforms, articulating value propositions clearly and credibly
  • Work independently to plan and execute account engagement strategies, supported by technical and delivery teams
  • Coordinate customer onboarding and handover to delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition
  • Track opportunities, forecasts, and client interactions using CRM and reporting tools
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory drivers within Qatar
  • Technical knowledge to supporting building customer offerings and working with technical team and partners to formalise proposals.

 

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5–10 years of proven experience in a business development or account management role in Qatar
  • Strong background selling cybersecurity, IT services, or technology solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experienced in building the opportunity from qualification to solution definition.
  • Established network within Qatar’s enterprise, private sectors
  • Strong partner ecosystem relationships (in country and offshore).
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Professional, credible, and confident when engaging senior executives
