- Degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience in hotel operations
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
As a Bus Runner, you play an essential role in keeping the restaurant running smoothly. You support the service team, maintain clean and organized dining areas, and help create a positive and welcoming experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service Support
- Set up and reset tables according to hotel standards
- Clear and clean tables, dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly
- Assist servers by delivering food and supporting smooth service flow
- Provide courteous guest assistance, including refilling water and responding to requests
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas at all times
- Assist with banquet and event setup and breakdown
- Monitor and restock supplies such as napkins, condiments, and service items
- Report shortages or issues to the appropriate team members
- Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient operations
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
- Maintain excellent personal grooming and professional appearance
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Build positive relationships with guests and colleagues
- Provide helpful support to other departments when needed
- Carry out any additional reasonable duties assigned by management
