Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Systems and Storage Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in managing and optimizing storage systems and infrastructure, ensuring their reliability, performance, and scalability. Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain storage systems, including HPE MSA, HPE Nimble Storage, IBM Storwize family (SVC), and IBM FlashSystem 5035 & 7200
- Integrate and support storage solutions with Microsoft Hyper-V environments
- Handle backup hardware such as IBM TS4300 Tape Library and HPE StoreEver MSL 1/8 Tape Autoloader, along with backup software including IBM Spectrum Protect, Veeam, and Rubrik
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and configure Storage Area Networks (Brocade SAN) and manage zoning configurations
- Ensure the reliability and availability of Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022)
- Collaborate with team members to share expertise and support knowledge transfer
- Stay updated with the latest developments in IT storage and backup solutions
- Provide input and recommendations for innovative solutions and improvements
- Proven expertise in systems and storage management, with hands-on experience in HPE and IBM storage solutions
- Solid understanding of Storage Area Network (SAN) technologies and concepts, particularly Brocade SAN
- Proficiency in Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 is mandatory
- Knowledge of backup hardware and software is highly desirable
- Certifications in storage or backup domains are a strong plus
- Experience with scripting in PowerShell is a plus
- Knowledge of Linux (RedHat) and OpenVMS is a plus
- Fluent in Dutch, with strong communication and teamwork skills
