Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using .NET (C#) and Azure Functions.
- Implement cloud-native microservices using Azure Container Apps, Service Bus, Event Hub, and Azure Storage.
- Build and integrate REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring secure communication using OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
- Contribute to solution design, technical analysis, and documentation.
- Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability through refactoring and best practices.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and collaborate on automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams within an Agile environment.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET (C#) and cloud-native development.
- Practical experience with Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure Container Apps, Key Vault, Redis Cache, and Azure Storage.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, and modern API authentication/authorization (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT).
- Experience with event-driven architectures such as Azure Service Bus or Event Hub.
- Familiarity with Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and distributed system design.
- Knowledge of Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Strong understanding of microservices, cloud integration patterns, and CI/CD best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams and communicate clearly with technical and functional stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working in the insurance or broader financial services industry.
- Familiarity with broker portals, policy systems, or claims workflows.
- Azure certification (such as AZ-204).
