Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities

You will work on two types of projects:

(1) projects related to the management of a repository of vehicle types (locomotive, multiple unit and carriage) and their physical characteristics;

(2) projects concerning the consolidation and distribution of information relating to railway traffic management (pre-processing, real-time, post-processing, back-office) to stakeholders both inside and outside our organisation.

Inside our organisation:

• Real-time visualisation of timetable changes for our signal box staff.
• Calculation of charges and invoicing for our network usage by clients.
• Calculation of electricity consumption relating to our activities.
• Feeding expert systems of the Big Data type.

Outside our organisation:

• To railway companies operating or passing through our network
• To neighbouring foreign infrastructure managers.
• To European railway information consolidation platforms, such as RailNetEurope, for example.
