Description: GCC – Project Coordinator (Belgium)


Role Overview

The Project Coordinator in Belgium acts as the primary liaison between the client (Brussels) and Global Competence Center IT teams in Bangalore. This role ensures seamless coordination of activities, timely communication, and alignment across stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• The primary contact in Belgium for IT Global Competence Center-related activities (e.g., demand collection, feedback management).

• Regular communication with the IT Global Competence Center team (twice weekly) for updates.

The coordinator also organizes cross-functional meetings, tracks progress, and fosters smooth collaboration between all parties involved.


Roles & Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain Global Competence Center project documentation; confidently present updates to larger IT audiences when required.

• Schedule and ensure consistency for monthly IT Welcome calls.

• Maintain regular touchpoints with the IT Global Competence Center team twice a week.

• Collaborate on preparing materials for monthly IT Global Competence Center status calls with Chapters.

• Support ramp-up plans, recruitment, and onboarding processes.

• Facilitate alignment between HR India and agile coaches for Agile training.

• Build strong relationships with hiring managers to aid recruitment and onboarding.

• Coordinate cross-functional meetings to review milestones and mitigate risks along with IT head.

• Organize team-building activities and workshops to foster collaboration.

• Work closely with Change Agents to drive adoption of IT Global Competence Center initiatives and overcome resistance.

• Engage with senior management to report status, resolve impediments, and facilitate team discussions.

Role Enhancement Opportunities

This position can be expanded to include:

• Designing and implementing mentorship programs to accelerate team development.

• Leading diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote an innovative and balanced workplace.

• Establishing feedback loops with new hires and existing staff to refine HR, recruitment, and onboarding strategies.

In the coming months, the focus will shift toward:

• Preparing for the transfer phase.

• Collaborating with the Change and Communication Manager to strengthen Belgium–India team integration.

• Working with Chapter Area Lead(s)/Chapter Area Owner(s) on ramp-up plans.

• Ensuring Global Competence Center teams feel fully integrated within IT.


Must be able to work on site in Belgium 2 days per week
