Join our talented team as a Manual QA Specialist and help shape one of the largest and most central national information systems in Estonia, a key part of the country’s e-state architecture. You will test and ensure the quality of new functionalities, contribute to system modernization, and work closely with full-stack developers and professional teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing manual and regression testing of new features, system updates, databases, and APIs (Postman, REST Assured, etc.), including third-party web services.
- Supporting automation testing initiatives and assisting in framework selection.
- Collaborating with Agile teams and communicating with customers to understand business processes.
- Creating bug tasks for developers and documenting completed work (Confluence, Jira).
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and best practices.
- Contributing ideas to improve processes and monitor system performance.
What we expect from you:
- 3 years as QA Specialist / Software Tester
- Fluent in Estonian
- SQL & database experience
- API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
- Git & CI/CD knowledge (e.g., Jenkins)
- Detail-oriented, curious, proactive, and collaborative
- Motivated to grow in test automation
Additional advantages:
- IT-related education, experience with large-scale/public sector systems
- Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, or JUnit
Technical Stack: Java, Python, Angular, React, PostgreSQL, REST, Kubernetes, X-road, etc.
