Position overview

As a Mid–Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing, optimizing, and scaling our web applications, primarily focusing on backend development with PHP (Symfony). You will work in a cross-functional team, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor fellow developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain PHP-based web applications, primarily focusing on the Symfony framework;
• Design and optimize database architecture and technical solutions;
• Improve product performance, stability, and scalability;
• Help shape development processes and structures within the team;
• Mentor and coach junior developers;
• Contribute to code reviews, best practices, and architectural discussions;
• Write automated tests and maintain high code quality;
• Maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Software development experience with emphasis on PHP (Symfony);
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and relational databases;
• Experience with unit, functional and integration testing;
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Docker, version control systems;
• Ability to mentor and support other developers;
• Communication skills in the Lithuanian and English languages, both verbal and non-verbal (at least B2 level).

Nice to have

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends;
• Practical usage of Test-Driven Development (TDD);
• Understanding of front-end technologies;
• Understanding DevOps related activity.

For this position, the salary range is 4500 - 6500 EUR bruto monthly. Were offering a hybrid work module.
