The position of Product Manager is currently open at Paychella, a Lithuanian-based EMI building modern payment and banking technology for Europe and beyond.


About the Position

As Product Manager, you own the product from idea to delivery.

You translate business, compliance, and customer needs into clear work for developers.

You also test what is built and make sure it meets functional, legal, and quality standards.


You work closely with compliance, developers, sales, operations, and management.

You make sure everything we build is usable, compliant, and ready for production.


This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Vilnius, Lithuania.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own product requirements: user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Prepare and review work items for developers, prioritise and maintain the development backlog.
  • Translate regulatory, operational, and commercial needs into clear implementation tasks.
  • Review delivered work against requirements and block releases when standards are not met.
  • Perform functional testing across web, mobile, APIs, and backend workflows.
  • Coordinate feedback between compliance, developers, product, and business teams.
  • Ensure features meet regulatory, security, and operational expectations before production.
  • Identify risks, edge cases, and gaps early in the delivery process.
  • Support release planning, go-live readiness, and production validation.
  • Maintain clear documentation of product behavior and decisions.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes.
  • Hands-on experience with testing web or mobile applications.
  • Ability to translate complex input into clear, structured requirements.
  • Fluent in English and Lithuanian, both written and spoken.
  • Based in Vilnius, Lithuania, with availability for hybrid work.
  • High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership.
  • Comfortable working with compliance and regulated products.
  • Able to push back when standards are not met.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-moving environment.


Nice to Have

  • Experience in fintech, payments, or banking.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory frameworks like AML, PSD2, DORA, or PCI.
  • Experience working with developers on API driven systems.
  • Experience with issue tracking or product tools.
