Your area of work:
As an intern – Data Science (f/m/d) you will support the team in the Data Product Management department in the development of innovative data products and analytical solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- You will help develop machine learning models to identify patterns and deliver measurable business value.
- You will use SQL/PySpark to query and manipulate data, conduct exploratory data analysis, and create data models for different use cases.
- You will work with various data sources, including big data tools (e.g. Azure Databricks) and cloud technologies, to create different datasets.
- You will use data analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools to build new data products and analytical solutions according to business requirements.
- You will help develop deep understanding of data products while significantly contributing to their enhancement.
- You will have regular discussions with the team and present your solutions and findings.
- You will work with different stakeholders under the guidance of an experienced supervisor.
- You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree programme and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months
- Ideally, you have already gained practical experience in conducting quantitative analysis (e.g. experience abroad, internships) and are interested in financial data.
- You have experience with and knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerBI.
- You have foundational programming skills in Python and SQL/PySpark.
- You can understand technical information quickly, derive insights and devise solutions. You have an independent and responsible way of working with attention to detail and agile communication and possess a passion to learn.
- You are proficient in written and spoken English.
