Junior Data Science Analyst

Join our Artificial Intelligence and Data (AI&D) team which is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights for our clients. We offer a full suite of services that focus on applying our experience across the entire data and artificial intelligence value chain. Thus, we provide major financial institutions, large public entities and global organizations with customized data solutions and strategic advice covering technical, process and organizational aspects.

As Business Analyst, you will work closely with our clients to understand and define their data-related business requirements. You will act as interface between business and IT stakeholders to develop tailor-made data solutions.

What you will do:

• Collect, clean, and analyze data to provide insights and support decision-making
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve data collection, transformation, and storage
• Adhere to best practices in data analysis, collection and quality
• Create documentation and artifacts for data quality rules engine, alerting and monitoring
• Prepare and participate in meetings throughout the project life cycle
• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders (IT and Business) to ensure their data-related needs are met
• Help to manage cross-functional resource teams in the delivery of complex projects
• Effectively apply Deloitte methodology and enforce program/project management standards

What about you:

• Hold a Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in information technology and / or business administration
• Solid analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills as well as a result-oriented attitude
• Rigorous, autonomous, eager to learn and have a strong team spirit
• Interested in both business and IT topics
• Ability to serve as a liaison between IT and various business units and to perform business analysis
• Familiar with key data concepts such as: Data Analysis, Data Management, Data Science, Data Engineering
• Previous internship/experience in a data-related field is preferred
• Proficiency in programming languages, including Structured Query Language (SQL) is a plus
• Good command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Be familiar with MS Project is an asset
• Strong verbal / written communication skills
• Fluency in English. French, German and / or Luxembourgish will be considered an asset
