Are you responsible for keeping IT environments stable and secure? Do you get energy from networks that simply work, and from solving issues before anyone even notices them? And do you feel at home in a creative, fast-moving media organisation?

You will join one of the largest media companies in the Netherlands. An environment where creativity and technology come together, and where a reliable network infrastructure is critical to daily operations.

As a Network Engineer, you are responsible for the backbone of the IT environment. You make sure everything stays connected, secure and scalable as the organisation grows. You monitor the network, intervene when incidents occur and carry out updates and security measures.

You carefully document configurations and procedures and act as a sparring partner for colleagues within IT. You also support end users with network-related questions. You keep oversight, think ahead and ensure continuity at all times.

Your profile:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routers, switches and firewalls

• Experience with network monitoring and security tools

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Clear communicator, able to explain complex topics in a simple way

• Accurate and structured in documentation and processes

• Team player who actively contributes to improvements

• Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written

Salary: 60K
