- Developing cloud and micro service business solutions on different platforms that combine user needs with business requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
- Concepting development, architectural reviews, development and operations
- Developing, deploying and maintaining automotive backend microservices based on Java, JavaScript or Python and powered by AWS
- Working in the context of automotive, you will use DevOps principles to create, test and deploy backend solutions as well as internal tools using modern cloud infrastructure like AWS
- Contributing to tech and architecture decisions
- Contributing with your team and other teams on all questions around backend and tool development.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience
- Proven experience working as a Backend Developer or related role
- Experience with backend development with Java and others such as Node.js, focusing on RESTful APIs, event driven architecture and integration (Kafka), and testing (JUnit, Mockito, ElasticMQ or similar)
- Experience with tools for logging and monitoring
- Knowledge of Cloud environments
- Knowledge of database design
- Strong Communication and analytical skills
- Great English skills, both written and spoken
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform or Cloudformation or CDK
- Experience in Microservices
