This is our emotional salary:Great Work-Life balance;Very flexible organizational routine;Health benefits (for you and your family);Team Building activities;Over 300 protocols to offer you great discounts in different areas;Continuous professional development sponsored by our Training and Certification Department;Regular feedback on your performance through a personalized plan;Comprehensive career plan and progression involving assertive performance reviews.ResponsibilitiesLead and execute cloud cost-optimization initiatives, including storage re-classification, evaluation of new resource types, and vertical/horizontal scaling strategies.Manage, monitor, and optimize large-scale distributed data clusters (e.g., Cassandra, Elasticsearch), performing configuration changes, migrations, and downscaling actions to improve performance and cost efficiency.Design, test, and deploy multi-cloud infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code, supporting core services across AWS, Azure, and GCP.Improve operational efficiency through automation of key processes, including Kubernetes Virtual Node Group creation, network routing configuration, and data transfer cost reductions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement safe production changes, taking technical ownership of complex tasks and providing leadership in decision-making.Develop automation tools and scripts following software engineering best practices to support cloud operations and ongoing cost-management efforts.RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer, with strong focus on cloud infrastructure and operations.Proven hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing solutions in AWS, Azure, and GCP (multi-cloud proficiency).
Extensive experience operating and optimizing Cassandra and Elasticsearch clusters in production environments.Strong proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including cluster upgrades and optimization with minimal downtime.Fluency in English.European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.Availability to go to the office, once per week.If you want to be part of a real People First organization, join us!
