Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager

We are now looking for a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to join our Finance Team.

Flashpoint is an international technology investment firm that manages venture capital, secondary buy-

out and venture debt funds.

Requirements:

● Completed Higher Education in Finance, Economics or Accounting

● Strong knowledge of IFRS

● Strong Experience of working with accounting software is a must (Quickbooks, Peachtree,

etc);

● Fluent oral and written English

● 5 - 7 years of full-time work experience

● Excellent attention to detail

● Ability to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision

● Ability to work under tight deadlines

● Team player

● a plus: Prior experience of working in the investment Fund/financial industry;

Job responsibilities:

1. Accounting/Reporting/Audit

● Main responsibility: accounting and reporting for all the companies in the Group

parameter in the accounting software of the Group (operational entities, Funds, GPs, SPVs, etc)

● Preparation and submission VAT report for Cyprus entity

● Assistance with quarterly books closure/FS preparations for Funds/SPVs

● Monthly cash reconciliations for all Group Companies/Funds

● Key contact for all Group invoices/Preparation of invoices for all companies

● Various accounting/tax/reporting tasks for all entities in the Group Structure on as

needed basis

● Review and communication of external administrators and out-sourced accountants

● Initiative or assistance in implementation of automation processes

2. Various projects of Finance/Legal/Compliance Investment Departments
