About The Role
This role offers a rare chance to shape the future of financial crime prevention through technology. As a core contributor, you'll craft an entirely new way of working for our FCP Investigators, empowering them with intuitive, efficient workflow tools to uncover and act on suspicious activity faster than ever before. Your work will make investigative tools more efficient and impactful, enabling investigators to protect society from financial crime. You'll also be at the forefront of innovation, as the FCP Process Automation team has developed an innovative GenAI assistant that redefines how intelligence is captured and transformed. As Java developer you will be cooperating with specialists from the team (Workflow Developers, Data Engineers) to create automated processes and ensure integration with the company systems. The team is distributed between Solna and Warsaw.

As a Java Developer in FCP Process Automation Team, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Designing and implementing components to integrate internal FCP systems with process automation solution
- Collaborating with developers in the team and with IT architects on defining the process implementation design
- Helping business to understand technical capabilities, suggesting best possible solutions and explaining limitations
- Defining way of working practices, suggesting and implementing improvements
- Experience with Java
- General knowledge or experience with Kafka, MongoDB, OpenShift
- Front-end development (experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML/CSS and modern frameworks is a plus)
- Experience in designing systems and data flows
- Experience in business process analysis and automation or similar field would be considered as an advantage
- Experience with cloud services (GCP) and infrastructure as a code (Terraform)
- Experience in Prompt Engineering, LLM tuning and Developing Agentic AI software
- Experience as a Tech Lead would be considered as advantage
- Experience with working in Scrum
- Ability to learn and adapt to changes quickly
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
