Job Description
The Program Executive Director (PED) plays a pivotal role in driving the asset success through management of internal crossfunctional programs (commercial & RD), as well as external partnerships as needed. The PED is key partner of the Head of Tryngolza incubator and the Head of Tryingolza medical affairs and clinical development, supporting both the cross-functional leadership team and the RDMA strategy team, ensuring that programs are appropriately resourced, conducted efficiently, completed within agreed timelines and budgets, and are in accordance with the company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Works with the Tryngolza leadership team throughout the entire life cycle of the asset (prior to launch and after launch) to translate strategy into execution
- Project manages the Tryngolza leadership team and the RDMA strategy team providing cross-functional operational leadership: coordinates team interactions; ensuring team meetings have structure and purpose; documents clear decisions/actions and communicates them to team members and relevant stakeholders; holds team members accountable for functional delivery of plans
- Assures integrated program plans are in place including cross-functional interdependencies, in particular:
- Works with the RDMA strategy team to translate strategy into robust plans, incl. clear go/no go decision points
- Facilitates the setting and tracking of program objectives and priorities and monitors program progress against approved project plans (ensures we deliver on time and on budget)
- Coordinates the identification and mitigation of program issues and risks, assures risk mitigation plans
- Ensures systems reflect the current program plan to enable integrated planning across the organisation (assumptions in system, ensures monthly project status reports are correct, deviations quickly identified)
- Responsible for program budget and long-term projections – budget planning and tracking, and evaluates project resource requirements: highlights resource gaps and works to ensure they are addressed
- Coordinates the preparation for governance and executive management program presentations in close collaboration with the leadesrhip team
- Drives the launch excellence framework and execution ( including key metrics) in close collaboration with the Global leadership team and key markets
Education
Required: Life Science BSc, and/or MSc
Desired: PhD or MD may be of benefit, but not required
Required
Work Experience
- 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, there of:
- Significant experience in Medicine/Clinical Development and Project Management roles in complex environments
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a global setting
- 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- Demonstrated success in leading complex projects effectively within matrix environments in the drug development / pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in preparing communication and leading meetings with senior stakeholders and management
Required: Professional proficiency in English

- Strategy and operational excellence minded with the ability to quickly define key program priorities, risks and issues, and lead teams in focusing on urgencies and solutions of greatest importance
- Good Project management skills: Decision- and action-oriented to facilitate quick decisions in alignment with the leadership team, with ability to organize, prioritize and follow-up
- Outstanding relationship building and communication skills, including ability to navigate throughout the organization and with individuals at all levels both internally and with external partners
