iOS Developer (Swift)

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced iOS Developer with strong Swift expertise to join a high-performing engineering team working on a large-scale, user-facing mobile platform. This role focuses on the ongoing development and enhancement of a mature iOS application used by a significant and active user base.

You’ll be working within an established codebase, delivering well-scoped features, refinements, and fixes in line with clearly defined requirements. Collaboration with product, backend, and design teams will be key to ensuring a stable, high-quality iOS experience at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and developing iOS features and improvements using Swift
• Delivering enhancements and fixes from prioritised work items and defined requirements
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement scoped functionality
• Ensuring application performance, stability, and responsiveness across supported devices
• Investigating and resolving defects and performance issues in a timely manner
• Maintaining high standards of code quality through adherence to established guidelines
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to incremental improvements
• Supporting regular releases and continuous delivery cycles

What We’re Looking For

• Proven commercial experience as an iOS Developer using Swift
• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation
• Experience integrating iOS applications with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with push notifications, cloud messaging, and background processing
• Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance optimisation
• Experience using Git and working within established development workflows
• A delivery-focused mindset with the ability to work effectively against defined tasks
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
