2. JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for a strong senior Tech Lead to take full ownership of our product's architecture, integrations, scalability, and security. This is a critical leadership role that will drive engineering execution, manage client integrations, and start building a high-performing engineering team. Our product is live, generating revenue, and we have just acquired a Shopify app — the need for a strong technical leader is urgent to scale operations effectively.

3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description

• Own the end-to-end architecture of the product, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
• Lead the design and implementation of integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and custom APIs
• Drive technical strategy and roadmap to support rapid client onboarding and millions in transactions
• Build, mentor, and manage the engineering team; define team structure, hiring needs, and development processes
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and QA processes
• Identify technical risks and proactively implement solutions
• Collaborate with product, operations, and business teams to prioritize features and integrations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the platform

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Head of Engineering, or Senior Architect in high-volume, scalable products
• Deep understanding of system architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with integrations: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and other custom APIs
• Strong knowledge of security, scalability, and performance optimization
• Experience building and leading engineering teams
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Strong ownership mindset and proactive execution orientation
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
