Role Summary

The Lead UI/UX Designer is responsible for defining, owning, and executing the user experience and interface design strategy across the group’s digital products and platforms. This role combines hands-on design leadership with strategic oversight to ensure all digital experiences are intuitive, consistent, and aligned with business objectives.


The role will lead UI/UX efforts across multiple brands and products, working closely with product, engineering, marketing, and business stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Strategy & Leadership

Define and maintain the overall UI/UX vision and design standards across all digital products

Establish and enforce design systems, guidelines, and best practices

Ensure consistency in user experience across platforms, brands, and devices

Translate business and product requirements into clear user experience strategies


Design Execution

Lead end-to-end UI/UX design processes, from research and wireframes to high-fidelity designs and prototypes

Review and approve design outputs to ensure quality and alignment with standards

Personally contribute to complex or high-impact design initiatives when required


User Research & Experience Optimization

Conduct and oversee user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis

Identify pain points and opportunities to improve user journeys and engagement

Use data, insights, and testing results to inform design decisions


Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with product managers to define user flows and product requirements

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of designs

Partner with marketing and brand teams to ensure alignment between digital experience and brand identity


Team & Stakeholder Management

Lead, mentor, and review the work of UI/UX designers and external agencies as applicable

Manage design timelines, priorities, and deliverables

Present design concepts and rationale clearly to senior stakeholders


Qualifications & Experience


Required

6+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role

Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UI/UX work across web and mobile platforms

Proven experience creating and managing design systems

Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices


Preferred

Experience working in multi-brand, multi-product, or group environments

Experience collaborating closely with product and engineering teams

Background in consumer-facing digital products, e-commerce, or platforms


Skills & Competencies

Strong visual design and interaction design skills

Excellent understanding of UX research and usability principles

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Structured, detail-oriented, and execution-focused approach
