You oversee, plan and ensure system readiness, performance and availability for Operations Support Information Technology (OSIT) common services with IT helpdesk services and technical support for any OSIT networks and systems issues, as well as resiliency and system refresh for systems and services.
What You Will Be Working On
- Ensure the smooth functioning of IT helpdesk services and on-site engineers
- Working closely with GovTech, DSTA and external vendors, as well as MINDEF and SAF Stakeholders to ensure that OSIT systems are running smoothly and upgraded timely
- Ensuring policy compliance and proper governance
- Working with various agencies to respond and troubleshoot systemic technical issues experienced by users to ensure a high level of system availability and user satisfaction
- Having good knowledge of various technology stacks in the current production environment to ensure OSIT systems and services meet user requirements
- Ability to influence and drive a wide range of stakeholders to ensure managed systems and services meet user satisfaction
- Education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) or related professional qualifications/certifications.
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical or engineering role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Organisation acumen
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
