Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Specialist


Responsibilities:


  • Provides direction, focus, guidance, support, prioritization and oversight for maintenance Planning & scheduling in Industrial work atmosphere.
  • Guide and support planning team to ensures equipment and systems data are entered and maintained in CMMS; reviews maintenance procedures; reviews daily work schedules; reviews maintenance plan program effectiveness; reviews and compiles predictive analyses results obtained by maintenance staff.
  • Guide and support Maintenance/Planning team for verification of parts and/or materials needed for completion of scheduled work.
  • Review and set KPIs of maintenance activities to achieve maximum production reliability and availability.
  • Drive institutional changes in existing maintenance, facility management, or technical asset management processes as well as CMMS (ORACLE) related changes necessary to support effective and efficient implementation of work control as per industrial best practice.
  • Benchmarking & Monitoring Maintenance KPIs on Monthly Basis.
  • Prepare Dashboard Report for Management’s reviews.
  • Assist in the development of requirements for the weekly scheduling process, which would allow for the optimization of resources, operational priorities, and stakeholder equity.
  • Drive the development of metrics to inform the management of maintenance backlogs, balance between preventative, corrective, and elective maintenance work completion.
  • Review PM and PdM Plans of Rotary/Static equipment.
  • Define and improve rules and methodologies for maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Support Maintenance and Planning Team in the preparation of operational and financial analysis and management reports for budgeting, forecasting, post-project planning, and project evaluation efforts.
  • Provide support in the implementation of reliability centered Maintenance excellence activities.
  • Help with the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance program and technology in alignment with the area procedures.
  • Support the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.
  • Prioritize, plan and scope for maintenance activities and work orders.
  • Reviews tender and contract conditions to highlight onerous provisions, conflicts and discrepancies and to propose recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Monitor and control the maintenance budget to ensure that costs do not escalate out of control and provide the required measurements in order to control the maintenance budget, monitor costs regularly and stay informed of actual costs compared to the budget and adjustments made accordingly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Degree in engineering, or related field or the equivalent combination of education with more than 10 years’ experience. He must have thorough technical knowledge in Mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, Instrumentation, and data gathering technics and calculation and fluent exposure in implementing Maintenance Planning and scheduling process and its results into the Oracle EAM CMMS.
  • Advanced knowledge of maintenance and work scheduling theories and practice.
  • Experience in Maintenance Reliability Engineering, RCM Analysis, CMMS Standardization & Implementation and Predictive Maintenance Implementation.
  • Experience in Reliability & Integrity Management of Rotary & Static Equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and to apply project management principles to organize, coordinate, sequence, and accomplish work.
  • Experience working independently as well as closely with all levels of management.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Computer Maintenance Management System work management modules (Oracle environment).
  • Excellent facilitation and leadership skills necessary to lead and facilitate multi-disciplinary teams of technical experts through technical discussions, including conflict resolution skills necessary to resolve differing opinions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a team environment, present & explain technical or operational information.
  • Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Knowledge of technical work with extensive Maintenance, Operation, safety, Quality and business basis requirements.
  • Experience in SAP/ORACLE PM / MM.
  • Experience in MS Office Suite/MS Project.
  • Experience in Planning and scheduling using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Experience in Data analysis and visualization.
