Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior PHP Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects in the FinTech, EdTech, and AgroTech domains.

Requirements:

●5+ years of relevant experience in PHP development;

●Expert knowledge of PHP 8.x

●Deep understanding of OOP, Design Patterns (Advanced level), SOLID, DRY, and KISS principles;

●Expertise in Laravel Framework

●Database Mastery: Advanced knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL

●Architectural Vision: Experience with Microservices, Event-driven architecture, or Hexagonal architecture/DDD (Domain-Driven Design);

●Caching & NoSQL: Hands-on experience with Redis, Memcached, or MongoDB;

●Testing Culture: Strong experience with TDD/BDD, PHPUnit, or Pest;

●Infrastructure & DevOps: Strong experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Lambda, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI);

●Security: Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and web security best practices;

●API Design: Experience building and documenting complex RESTful or GraphQL APIs;

●Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP (Lambdas, SQS, RDS, EC2);

●English: Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Nice to have:

●Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP (Lambdas, SQS, RDS, EC2);

●Knowledge of High-load optimization (Swoole, RoadRunner);

●Experience with Monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog, ELK stack);

●Knowledge of other languages (Go, Python, or Node.js) is a plus.

Responsibilities

●Excellent verbal and writing English language skills;

●Drive the technical vision and architectural decisions for the product;

●Collaborate with stakeholders to transform business requirements into technical specifications;

●Manage technical debt and proactively propose refactoring of legacy code;

●Lead and mentor junior and middle developers through pair programming and coaching;

●Deliver efficient, testable, and highly scalable code using PHP 8 and Laravel;

●Optimize application performance (profiling, bottleneck identification, caching strategies);

●Perform deep-dive code reviews with a focus on security, scalability, and maintainability;

●Design and implement complex system integrations (third-party services, internal microservices);

●Participate in Discovery phases, Presale activities, and Project tech assessments;

●Define and improve development processes (CI/CD, coding standards, documentation);

●Participate in External interviews and Hard Skill Matrix reviews;

●Lead incident resolution and perform root cause analysis for production issues.
