About the Role

We're looking for a Reliability Engineer to help us scale, optimize, and maintain our infrastructure. You'll work closely with our development team to ensure our systems remain performant, resilient, and ready for continued growth.

What You'll Do

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance at scale
• Identify and resolve database bottlenecks handling terabytes of data
• Tune and optimize job queues processing millions of jobs daily
• Design and implement solutions for improved reliability and scalability
• Collaborate on infrastructure decisions and capacity planning
• Contribute to our Laravel/PHP codebase when needed
• Help improve our monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes

Tech Stack

• Backend: PHP/Laravel
• Databases: MariaDB, ClickHouse, MongoDB
• Monitoring: Sentry, Datadog, Grafana, Percona monitoring and management, anything you need
• Other: Cloudflare, RabbitMQ

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience with PHP (Laravel experience a plus)
• Solid understanding of relational databases and query optimization
• Experience operating high-traffic, data-intensive systems
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and observability practices
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Good communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with ClickHouse or other analytics databases
• Background in fraud detection or data pipeline optimization
• Familiarity with GDPR/CCPA compliance requirements
