About this role

We, at Yral, are looking for an experienced AI/ML specialist to help us build our recommendation system. As an AI/ML Recommendation Specialist at Yral, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge machine-learning algorithms and techniques to power our recommendation systems. This would include video component analysis, video classification with a vector database for the videos being posted on our app; and user profile analysis and classification (based on their likes, dislikes, friends, etc) to create a video feed best suited to a particular user. You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to design, build, and deploy recommendation models that enhance user experience, drive engagement, and boost business metrics.

Ideal Candidate

● Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field from Tier 1 colleges desirable.

● Minimum 2+ years of experience in developing and implementing machine learning models.

● Strong understanding of recommendation algorithms, such as collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and hybrid methods.

● Experience with Python programming language and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn and Vector databases.

● Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.

● Entrepreneurial mindset with strong decision-making, collaboration & communication skills.

● Ability to move quickly without breaking things too much (we are dreamers)

● Ability to work under immense pressure which is balanced by a sense of responsibility and ownership
