We’re ready to take our product to the next level, delighting users with impactful features and exceptional experiences. To do this, we’re looking for a UX / UI Designer with a startup mindset and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences in fintech. This role is pivotal in shaping our design strategy, driving innovation, and collaborating with a cross-functional team.

What You’ll Do

  • Design end-to-end user experiences across belo’s diverse product offerings: from crypto assets to international remittances and local payment solutions
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for mobile-native products
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and data analysts to create intuitive, user-centered designs
  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform design decisions and prioritize features
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and evolving priorities in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Advocate for the user while balancing business and technical constraints

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 - 3 years of experience designing fintech products, preferably in startups or fast-paced environments
  • Strong expertise in UX/UI design, user research, and design systems
  • Strong focus on UI design, with special attention to visual consistency and the development of dynamic, scalable components.
  • Ability to effectively introduce AI tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
  • A sense of urgency and ownership in delivering high-impact solutions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with short iteration cycles to continuously refine user experiences based on feedback
  • Expertise with Figma and a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and results – especially for native mobile applications
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory
  • Experience in the crypto and blockchain ecosystem is a big plus
  • Proficiency in Portuguese is another big plus
