Job Title: Project Manager – PV Solar & BESS

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale PV Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Berlin. The role involves managing all phases of project execution—from planning and permitting to construction and commissioning—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle for PV and BESS installations.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with German regulations and EU standards.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and grid operators.
• Monitor risk management and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing large-scale renewable energy projects (PV and/or BESS).
• Strong knowledge of German permitting processes and grid connection requirements.
• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• Familiarity with EPC contracts and financial planning.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English (mandatory).
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
