About The Job

We are seeking a Solution Implementation Engineer, reporting to the DevSecOps Team Leader, who will contribute to the design, implementation, deployment, and support of secure, resilient, and sustainable software solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery and operational excellence.

Key activities in the position:

  • Work primarily within the scope of the team to deliver secure, resilient and sustainable software solutions from design to implementation and deployment
  • Translate ideas into clear code, written to be read as well as executed, following the teams code guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Support existing solutions, responding with urgency to operational issues and serving as a second level support when needed
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions and maintain vigilant system oversight through automated alerting, metrics analysis, and predictive problem-solving to prevent service degradations
  • Actively engage in code reviews, reconciling different opinions and following best practices set up by others
  • Always use a sensible combination of manual, integration and unit tests to adhere to the teams quality standards
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation for all implemented solutions, integrations, and security controls, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational continuity
  • Ensure responsible decision making by assessing the impact and risk of solutions and follow with the appropriate communication to the stakeholders
  • Perform any ad-hoc activities in relation to the Solution Implementation Engineer's role

Job Requirements

We are looking for someone with the following skills set:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar experience
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken skills, any other language will be being an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Dev(Sec)Ops Engineer, software developer or in a similar position.
  • Professional experience with Java, Spring and Springboot frameworks
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, Github, Bitbucket…)
  • Experience with Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL…) and SQL
  • Experience with Windows and terminal or command line interface based systems (Linux RHEL)
  • Experience with networking and protocols (SSH, SSL/TLS, HTTPS, DNS, SFTP…)
  • Experience with ITIL and DevSecOps principles and practices
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (OWASP, CIS…)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Github actions, TeamCity, Bitbucket Pipelines…)
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, NextJs…)
  • Experience with observability platforms (Elastic, DataDog, NewRelic…)
  • Analytic reasoning and solution oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Open mind with an interest in discovering root causes and solving problems

Agreements

We offer

  • Salary paid on 13 months basis.
  • 31 days holidays per year.
  • Up to 40% of home office for Luxemburgish residents, 25% maximum for non-residents.
