We’re looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our Analytics team. You’ll play a critical role in driving our transition to GCP/Ali Cloud and shaping the future of compliance analytics through cutting-edge technologies and automation.
Key Technologies:
- Cloud Platforms: GCP, Kubernetes
- Big Data: Hadoop, Spark, Hive
- Programming: Python, Bash/Shell Scripting
- DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Gradle
What You’ll Do
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and champion DevOps best practices within the team.
- Design and implement GCP components and frameworks to support compliance analytics.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless functionality of GCP services.
- Maintain and improve system resilience and recovery processes to meet key objectives.
- Partner with developers, product owners, and test engineers to identify and resolve operational challenges.
- Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and regulations (e.g., cybersecurity, data privacy).
- Develop and maintain bash scripts and support Linux system operations.
- Support frameworks for automated builds, releases, and IT controls.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience:
- A degree in IT or equivalent experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- 3+ years of experience in IT, preferably within software engineering or DevOps practices.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong English communication skills.
Technical Skills:
- Proven expertise with Kubernetes, Linux systems, and bash scripting.
- Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and services.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Gradle, Terraform, Ansible.
- Familiarity with Hadoop/Spark ecosystems and big data clusters.
- Proficiency in Python and tools like JupyterHub.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- GCP Certification.
- Experience with Hive/SparkSQL.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools, including Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts.
