We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to take ownership of the frontend for a fast-growing tech company building a highly scalable platform in a high-traffic, high-availability environment. This is a unique opportunity to lead the frontend direction, working closely with a talented UX/UI designer and collaborating with a backend-focused team.

You’ll be part of a small, senior team where autonomy and ownership are key. Expect to work across the full development lifecycle (design, build, deploy, and run) while influencing technical decisions that will define the company’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the frontend architecture and implementation using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and scalability across the frontend.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and optimise end-to-end workflows.
• Contribute to a culture of “you build it, you run it” with strong DevOps practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in frontend development, ideally in senior or lead roles.
• Expertise in React, TypeScript, Next.js, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind preferred).
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and an eye for design quality.
• Experience building responsive, high-performance web applications.
• Bonus: Familiarity with backend concepts and ability to collaborate effectively with full-stack teams.
• Ability to take ownership and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
