The role requires the ability to independently handle backend features, although expertise in backend development is not mandatory. The candidate should possess elite communication skills, deep resilience, no ego, and product mastery. The engineering culture emphasizes optional code reviews, radical autonomy, high-bandwidth collaboration, direct feedback, and ruthless efficiency. The recruitment process includes a recruiter screening, a short one-on-one with Simon, a technical challenge, and a full-time contract with a one-month trial period.
