The Role

We’re hunting for a rare unicorn—someone who lives and breathes what's possible AI/ML engineering, full-stack backend development, and Unity game programming at the absolute top level.

This role requires mastery across the entire AI-to-game pipeline: designing world-class LLM prompt systems (including multi-agent orchestration) and RAG integrations, building scalable backend systems, and coding real-time multiplayer Unity experiences that bring career quests and AI classrooms to life.

What You’ll Own

• Design, build, and optimize prompt systems for advanced LLMs—crafting dynamic, adaptive AI interactions tailored to each learner’s journey.
• Work hand in hand with front end game dev team in Unity focused on user experience first design.
• Architect and develop scalable backend services with Node.js and Python, leveraging MongoDB, vector search, LangChain/LangGraph, and RAG frameworks.
• Implement complex Unity (C#) multiplayer features, including low-latency networking, avatar systems, immersive quests, and AI-powered gameplay elements.
• Seamlessly integrate AI-driven learning systems with interactive 3D environments to deliver personalized, evolving career questlines and simulations.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and performance optimizations to maintain a robust, scalable platform.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, game designers, AI scientists, narrative writers—to align technical solutions with user engagement and learning goals.
• Continuously iterate based on analytics and user feedback, ensuring prompt accuracy, game balance, and learning efficacy at scale.

Skills Required — Only the Best Need Apply

• Prompt Engineering: Proven expert in crafting, testing, and deploying high-impact prompts for LLMs with deep RAG system experience (LangChain, LangGraph, vector DBs).
• Full-Stack Mastery: Expert-level backend skills in Node.js and Python, with solid command of NoSQL DBs (MongoDB), cloud services (AWS/GCP), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD.
• Unity Programming: Advanced Unity (C#) developer with a portfolio of shipped multiplayer 3D projects demonstrating real-time networking, optimization, and system architecture.
• AI Integration: Strong background integrating AI (LLMs, adaptive systems, personalization) into real-time interactive or game platforms.
• Systems Design: Ability to build modular, fault-tolerant architectures combining backend AI and Unity client with low-latency, high concurrency support.
• Debugging & Optimization: Exceptional at diagnosing, profiling, and tuning both backend pipelines and client builds under pressure.
• Collaboration: Thrives in fast-paced, cross-disciplinary teams and communicates clearly with engineers, designers, and product owners.

Bonus:

• Experience with reinforcement learning or custom model fine-tuning.
