Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare detailed landscape designs, plans, and construction drawings for a variety of projects.
- Oversee all stages of landscape implementation, from site analysis and initial concept to final installation and handover.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Select appropriate softscape and hardscape materials, with a strong emphasis on plant species suitable for the local climate and sustainable practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and enforce health and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure a cohesive project outcome.
- Design and supervise the installation of efficient irrigation systems.
- Ensure all landscape designs and works comply with local authority regulations and environmental guidelines.
- A Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, or a closely related field.
- Proven professional experience as a Landscape Engineer, preferably within a design-build or construction company.
- Demonstrable experience working on projects in the Middle East is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in relevant design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other landscape design tools.
- In-depth knowledge of plant materials, irrigation techniques, and construction methods suited to arid environments.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- A creative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
