Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Developer to join our growing technology team in Australia. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career developer who is eager to learn, develop technical skills, and work alongside experienced developers on real-world projects. You will contribute to software development, testing, and maintenance while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under guidance
  • Support debugging, testing, and resolving technical issues
  • Participate in code reviews and team meetings
  • Work closely with senior developers, testers, and other stakeholders
  • Follow software development best practices and coding standards
  • Assist with system updates, enhancements, and bug fixes
  • Learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and frameworks

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript)
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals and object-oriented concepts
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Basic understanding of databases and SQL
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Desirable Skills

  • Exposure to web development frameworks (React, Angular, .NET, Spring, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of REST APIs
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies
  • Internship, university projects, or personal coding projects
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
