Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Developer to join our growing technology team in Australia. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career developer who is eager to learn, develop technical skills, and work alongside experienced developers on real-world projects. You will contribute to software development, testing, and maintenance while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under guidance
- Support debugging, testing, and resolving technical issues
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings
- Work closely with senior developers, testers, and other stakeholders
- Follow software development best practices and coding standards
- Assist with system updates, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and frameworks
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript)
- Understanding of software development fundamentals and object-oriented concepts
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
