We are working with an ERP client in Germany who is looking to hire a Head of AI to lead their AI team.

You will be responsible for leading a team focused on building GenAI and agentic AI services, working closely with stakeholders and collaborating across the business to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional AI teams (10+ people) and delivering innovative AI solutions.
• Strategic thinker who can make confident architectural decisions while still remaining hands-on.
• Open-minded and continuously looking for ways to improve systems and processes.
• Strong agile mindset, comfortable working in fast-moving environments.

What you’ll do in the role

• Lead the AI innovation engineering team to deliver continuous, KPI-driven results across teams.
• Align AI platform development with company goals in collaboration with the VP Engineering and senior leadership.
• Act as both the disciplinary and strategic leader for the AI innovation team.
• Manage budgets, key stakeholders, and third-party providers.
• Oversee research collaborations to bring new AI innovations into the platform.

Package

• €100,000 – €120,000 total compensation (including bonus)
• Remote-first, with an onsite visit once every other month
