Project & Programme Manager – Network Infrastructure

🕒 11-month contract 💰 €73,000 per annum (pro-rata) or €370 per day

We are currently seeking an experienced Project & Programme Manager to support a large-scale Network Infrastructure function within a global technology environment. This team works closely with multiple internal stakeholders to deliver low-latency, high-availability content delivery and connectivity services across the EMEA region.

This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who enjoys working at scale, managing complex technical programmes, and collaborating with globally distributed teams.

The Role

You will combine strong project management fundamentals with a solid understanding of networking and data centre environments to lead cross-functional programmes from planning through to delivery. You’ll be responsible for managing dependencies, constraints, designs, and interlinked project schedules across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and consolidate customer requirements across locations and forecast future service growth
• Translate requirements into structured programmes and delivery plans
• Work closely with engineering teams to design network solutions
• Manage programmes covering physical infrastructure, networking hardware, and connectivity (internet, peering, backbone)
• Lead globally dispersed, cross-functional teams
• Track risks, dependencies, timelines, and inter-project constraints

Full training, coaching, and mentorship will be provided — deep expertise in every area is not required.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant IT or technical discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in Project or Programme Management
• Demonstrable experience in Data Centre and/or Networking operations
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project (or similar scheduling tools)

Nice to Have

• PMP or similar Project Management certification
• Experience delivering complex technology infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of multiple project management methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services
• Excellent multitasking, prioritisation, and stakeholder management skills
