Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership:
- Lead and manage multiple related projects to achieve strategic business goals, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and resource optimization.
- Strategic Planning:
- Define program roadmap, success metrics, and milestones. Develop and manage business cases, program charters, and execution plans.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with senior executives, business sponsors, and cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication, alignment, and accountability throughout the program lifecycle.
- Governance & Reporting:
- Establish and oversee governance structures, status reporting, and performance dashboards to track progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify potential risks, issues, and interdependencies early; develop and execute mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.
- Budget & Resource Management:
- Manage program budgets, resource allocations, and vendor relationships to achieve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Process Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement best practices, and promote a culture of excellence in program delivery and execution.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor project managers and cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience: 15–18 years of total experience with at least 8–10 years in program or project management leadership roles.
- Certifications: PMP / PgMP / PRINCE2 / Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, product development, or digital transformation (depending on industry).
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven leadership and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strategic mindset with attention to detail.
