At fme Romania, we're seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of data and document migration projects, ensuring successful outcomes for our clients.
In this role, you'll oversee complex data initiatives while collaborating closely with clients and the fme delivery team. You'll play a key part in the development and implementation of data governance and data quality solutions, ensuring both internal and external requirements are met and customer success is achieved.
What you'll do:
Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead end-to-end project management activities for complex, high-visibility projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations.
Client & Executive Engagement: Lead client-facing meetings with support from technical leads and present regular project status updates, including financial KPIs, to the C-suite and PMO.
Planning, Reporting & Governance: Own project planning, scope management, estimations, risk and issue tracking, status reporting, and preparation of comprehensive project documentation.
Team Coordination & Oversight: Assign and oversee daily tasks for technical consultants, ensuring alignment with milestones and optimal resource utilization.
Technical Collaboration: Hold regular technical team meetings to track progress, address challenges, and provide feedback on technical risks impacting timelines, clearly communicating these to clients and management when needed.
Stakeholder & Cross-Team Coordination: Act as the central point of coordination between customers, business analysts, and technical delivery teams to ensure smooth execution.
Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify, manage, and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies, using appropriate escalation and communication channels.
Lifecycle & Quality Management: Define and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 quality management standards and processes.
Requirements
What we're looking for:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Technical Project Manager, ideally in consulting or complex enterprise environments.
Industry Exposure: Experience delivering business solutions for clients in the Life Sciences industry.
Project Background: Proven involvement in document, data, or IT migration projects using Enterprise Content Services platforms.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
Certifications: PMP certification is preferred.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, leadership, and technical teams
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with strong presentation abilities
Collaboration & Autonomy: Ability to work independently while also collaborating efficiently with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Life Sciences Expertise: Hands-on experience within the Life Sciences domain, particularly in regulated environments.
Platform Experience: Previous experience with platforms such as Documentum, Generis, Veeva, SharePoint, and other enterprise IT systems.
