DESCRIPTION
At Sinch, our focus is on driving growth through organic initiatives. Strong organic growth requires a solid data foundation to guide business strategy and build operational efficiency. As part of our Data Analytics department, you'll collaborate with colleagues across multiple regions and functions.
The team's mission is to deliver timely, high-quality insights that support decision-making across the Sinch business, from operational optimisation to tactical and strategic recommendations. To succeed in this role, we're looking for someone who is curious about the drivers behind data patterns, detail-oriented in their execution, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment. You will work closely with multifunctional teams such as Product, Finance, HR, and Sales, and be part of a modern analytics setup using tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau.
This is a one-year fixed-term contract, covering colleagues on parental leave. The role is designed to ensure continuity in analytics delivery and stakeholder support during this period.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Insights and Reporting: Deliver actionable insights through data analysis; maintain and develop dashboards, reports, and models to track key performance indicators and support business decisions.
- Data Model Development: Create and refine models to support our stakeholders' decision-making processes.
- Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with teams such as Product, Finance, and Data Delivery to embed analytics into ongoing business processes and initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Assess internal resources, documentation, data sources, and reporting continually, striving for improved quality and accuracy.
- Spreading Data Culture: Support stakeholders in understanding and using data effectively, contributing to a stronger data-driven culture across the organization.
- Analytics Support and Operations: Act as a key point of contact for internal analytics users by managing support requests, investigating data quality or reporting issues, and answering questions related to dashboards and data usage.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in business, financial, or strategic analysis, gained through roles such as analytics, finance, modelling, consulting, audit, or similar.
- At least 2 years of experience using Tableau.
- At least 2 years of experience working with SQL, or a comparable track record in analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative or business-related field (e.g. finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) is desirable.
- Experience working with stakeholders to solve business problems using data and analytics, including translating insights into clear recommendations.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Big Plus
- Experience working in a global company with colleagues and partners across the world.
- Tech, SaaS, or Telecom experience working in a Business-to-business setting.
