Engineering Systems (ES) 5 teams manage infrastructure and security supporting Engineering System activities. The environment includes thousands of servers across multiple datacenters, plus Azure resources across multiple regions. Infrastructure includes file servers, applications, databases, and test collateral. Security initiatives include (but aren’t limited to) code bugs, FCIB management/removal, and S360/SFI work.

This engagement consolidates multiple workstreams: Build acceleration, Azure DevOps (ADO) support, Dynamics/PowerApps support, hardware management & toil reduction, monitoring upgrades, Windows compliance dashboards, and S360/SFI action items.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as an SDE/SRE;


• Production experience with C#;


• Experience with PowerShell for automation, tooling, and operational workflows;


• Experience supporting or operating Azure resources (compute, networking basics, identity/access patterns);


• Familiarity with CI/CD, preferably AzDO pipelines, including troubleshooting pipeline failures and improving reliability;


• Experience with incident management (triage, mitigation, escalation, post-incident follow-ups); familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., IcM) is a plus.

Nice to Have (stream-specific):SCOM / OME (monitoring upgrades, alert tuning, operational readiness);

• SQL Server administration (especially upgrade to SQL Server 2022);


• C++ exposure (some streams);


• Dynamics 365 / PowerApps configuration and support;


• PowerBI (compliance dashboards);


• Experience reducing hardware management toil via automation and standardized processes.
